I've been doig a lot of work with muted, desaturated colours and also with black and white recently, which is probably a seasonal influence rather than a change in style, so when this image popped off the screen whilst I was editing it in PhotoShop I couldn't resist posting it. The subject is Luke, a session musician and student at Guildford's ACM.

The location is a road bridge over the River Wey on the outskirts of Guildford but I "bent" the colours in PhotoShop to produce this effect whilst simultaneously desaturating the subject and casting the shadow of his guitar on the wall. There is a lot going on in this shot and I'll probably post something about the technique on my blog, http://theLightMatters.com in the future.
